The Supporters Club held a Quiz Night in the clubhouse on Sunday 27th January. The event was a great success with 12 teams of 4 taking part in a very enjoyable evening. This was not an event from which we expected to make much profit, its purpose was to have an enjoyable social evening and to make money for the football club indirectly through bar takings. However, we still managed to raise over £100 from the raffle and bargain £1 entry fee.
Congratulations to Jackie Robinson who led the winning team, and thanks to all who supported the event. Particular thanks go to Bernie Green, Martin Holbrook and Tony Garton for all their hard work in making it happen.
